After starting an affiliate program at eProfit you need to upload advertising materials to be placed on affiliates' websites. These can include banners of all types (GIF/JPG, Flash, HTML or Text). The number of advertising materials you can use in your program is unlimited. You can upload as many banners and links as you need to.
It is recommended, though, that you upload ads of different types and sizes to
match different advertising zones on affiliates' websites. More on
advertising zones.
Each of your programs must have a set of banners to be used with it. Affiliates
can select banners they would like to show in a particular advertising zone of
their website.
To upload a banner:
Open the program whose advertising materials you would like to upload in "My Programs"
section of "My Office", and click "View banners in the right menu.
You will see the list of all banners (if you have any) for your program.
Click the "Add new banner" link in the top right corner of the page.
Step 1
Select the banner type you would like to upload - text, HTML, image or Flash.
Step 2
Text banners:
Enter the banner name. You can give any name to your banner for easier navigation
through your banners (optional field).
Enter the URL this banner will contain the link to (including http://). It can
link to any page of your website. A part of this URL must correspond to your
program URL.
Specify the alternative text (text in "alt" tag of your banner) The
text that will be displayed if the user hovers the mouse cursor over your banner.
Enter the text of your text link. This text cannot contain HTML tags.
Select the banner size from the drop-down menu.
Click the "Add Banner" button.
This banner type is approved and can be used by affiliates immediately after the
upload.
HTML banners
Enter the banner name. You can give any name to your banner for easier navigation
through your banners (optional field).
Enter the HTML-code for your banner. You can use GET and POST forms in your
HTML code. POST forms will be automatically converted into GET forms. The form
elements names cannot contain id_site, id_zone, id_program, id_banner, href
names - these are reserved by the eProfit system. You cannot use JavaScript,
Flash, iframe and div elements in your HTML code.
Select the banner size from the drop-down menu.
Click the "Add Banner" button.
Banners of this type shall be viewed and approved by moderators before they become accessible to affiliates.
Graphic Banners
Enter the banner name. You can give any name to your banner for easier navigation
through your banners. Optional field.
Enter the URL this banner will contain the link to (including http://). It can
link to any page of your website. A part of this URL must correspond to your
program URL.
Specify the alternative text (text in "alt" tag of your banner) The text
that will be displayed if the user hovers the mouse cursor over your banner.
Click the "Browse" button and find the banner file you would like
to upload on your computer.
Select the banner size from the drop-down menu. This parameter must match the
actual size of the banner image.
Click the "Add Banner" button.
Flash Banners
Enter the banner name. You can give any name to your banner for easier navigation
through your banners (optional field).
Enter the URL this banner will contain the link to (including http://). It can
link to any page of your website. A part of this URL must correspond to your
program URL.
Browse for the banner file on your computer. Banner file size must not exceed
80KB.
Note: The link in your Flash banner must be inserted from the external parameter
"url". To achieve this you will have to modify the source .FLA file.

Banners of this type shall be viewed and approved by moderators before they
become accessible to affiliates.
After uploading advertising materials you can access them in the following
way:
Navigate to "My Office" -> "My Programs", find the program
you would like to view banners for and click "View Banners" link in
the right menu of the program table.
The Banner screen displays the list of all banners uploaded for the selected program. By clicking on the buttons at the top of the page you can view the program banners refer to or upload a new banner.
If you have more banners than can be displayed on one page, use the navigation bars at the top and bottom of the page to view the rest of the banners.
Each banner table in the list displays:
Banner name (if you have specified it)
The target URL of the banner (HTML banners do not need the URL parameter
as it is included in HTML code).
The date and time the banner was uploaded to the program.
Banner status - banners can have the following statuses:
The banner itself (or the HTML code of the banner in case it is a HTML
banner)
Banner ID at eProfit.
Banner Type - Graphic, Text, HTML or Flash
Banner Size
The name of the affiliate program this banner refers to.
Banner statistics. All statistics shown here refer only to the current
banner ad and allows you to track and compare the performance of your advertising
materials. Read more about statistics.
Deleting a link/banner
To delete one of your advertising materials, click the "Delete" link
in the right menu of the banner you would like to remove from your program.
A confirmation window will appear. Click OK. The banner will be deleted and
in order to restore it in the system you will have to upload it again.
If you would like to temporarily disable the banner rotation without deleting it, click "Disable". The banner will no longer be displayed on your affiliates' sites. Click "Activate" if you would like to reactivate your banner at any time. Banners are activated and deactivated immediately after you click the button.
